Buildcraft is a member if the Registered Master Builders Association as well as a Licenced Building Practitioner and a proud winner of the 2022 House of the Year Under $1 Million National Supreme Award as well as Regional Category Winners.
The Team.
Hamish O’Carroll is originally from South Canterbury. He completed his apprenticeship in Timaru for a high-end building company. Early in his apprenticeship, Hamish showed a high level of initiative, passion, and skills. This culminated in winning second place in the Master Builders Apprentice of the Year.
Hamish moved to Wanaka in 2017 after living and working in overseas Australia, the UK, and Canada. This experience and adaptability in differing codes and practices has enhanced Hamish’s skillset.
When Hamish is not on the building site, he is working on the farm, chasing his young children around, or adventuring with his family on a bike, on foot or in a boat.
